You should have taken the RX. You know in the RX, you can make beds out of the seats, eh?

Most people don't know that...

My worst seating experience was in a first-gen Kia Rondo. I had the CUV for two days, and endured neck pain for the remainder of the week. The headrest pushed on my head, and I could not figure out how to adjust everything to my liking. I noticed that in a lot of cars from a few years ago when something changed in headrest standard, but lately that "headrest interference" is less of a problem. I'm tall but I sit upright and close to the wheel. That's something you notice right there in the showroom.

Way back when, my wife's '94 Tercel gave me back pain, so I concur with others here on mid-'90s Toyota seats. My old '86 Celica had fabulous buckets.

In the Odyssey, I'm never quite right and I keep fidgeting with the electric controls on longer drives - seating is too tall, bucket too wide. The Golf's seats are just about perfect, those in the GTI I reviewed were fantastic, though they would probably be too narrow with winter gear on.

My best seats so far where this year were in the Jaguar XF.

I seem to like my seats "German firm" or "Toyota cushy."  I've done huge days (1100km or more) in the Highlander and was fine.  The Corollas suit me well too.

The key is longer test drives if possible.
