I think most will be sold in the 1500 series and probably with V6 261 hp motor starting at $31 gs plus freight PDI of $1350

If dealer service is open the hours commercial customers are accustomed to, parts are readily available, and the van proves reliable I think this has a good chance at eating a chunk of Ford/GM business and some Sprinter sales.

It's thoroughly modern, has powerful engines, the nice tall roof option, and appears priced right. Not incredibly different, but they have a decent formula here.

These vans carry healthy profit margins, so it'll be interesting how they fare.
I'm even more interested in what the global Ford Transit brings to the table in a year or two.
