i'm a fan of cooper tires  (i dunno why....  maybe it's because it's not good year or firestone but still american?)
but without actual data and comparison to more recent and true benchmark i.e. Blizzak WS80 or Xice 3, instead of older Continentals(even though i like them) this reads more like manufacturer promo piece.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Agreed, the Firestone Winterforce are better than AS tires, but not by much (assuming those were the tires tested with the Tahoe.)

Seems to be a common theme for winter tire "comparisons" these days - use Firestone winter tires as the "benchmark".  Sure, it's better than an A/S tire, but there's probably a reason Cooper or Continental won't risk comparing their products against a Blizzak, X-Ice, Hakkapelita, etc...

Well, sounds like you had a much better time in Tremblant than I. Not that I didn't enjoy the skiing - I did, but my flight home last night was cancelled. Good ol' Porter doesn't fly Mon-Wed, so the next flight is Thurs, but thanks to Family Day/Reading Week/President's week, all flights are fully booked.

Porter said they are trying to add a flight, so here's top hoping -they're handling everything really well

Hoping to get home before friday!

Hopefully they are paying for food and hotel?

Home now.

Didn't pay for either - weather related.  ...but they did get a new flight in today, so that was nice :)
