Nice!
Here's hoping for many years of 'boring' motoring.   ;D

Curious if the BMW dealer put your ML on their used lot?

Yep, I saw it on their website asking 22,900. It sold in about a week

My condolences to the new owner.  :o

Interesting, I wouldn't have expected them to put it on their lot.

You should've put one of these mini GPS trackers under the seat to monitor how many times it went back to the dealer. ;D
Kidding.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Interesting, I wouldn't have expected them to put it on their lot.

I think they used to only do BMW used there and send the other stuff off site to one of the other dealerships in their group. I did hear that they recently hired a new used car manager with the specific aim to broaden and build their used business.

Nice X5! Glad to hear you're happier.

The moan 'n whine thread will live on!  ;)

I know the X5 is one of the worst rated vehicles of all time, but if anyone has one coming to him in terms of a win, it's this previous ML suffering owner.  As much as we love this misery threads, I do hope that this X5 turns out to be flawless.

We really, really need someone to buy a 2005-ish Range Rover.

So that's what the BMW store did with mine. I wondered why it disappeared so quickly.

Looks brand new, great to hear that you were able to work things out with the dealer without taking a huge financial hit.  How hard was it to get them to take it back?

The $10K difference for the trade is huge.

I'm just catching up.

Congratulations sailor! I'm glad you found something that'll work for you.

They were actually pretty decent to deal with.

Late to the party but congrats on the upgrade, Sailor! Sometimes it takes more than a few miles to determine a car just isn't a good fit. Beautiful car and glad to read you made out well on the trade
