I really like the front styling but there's something about the greenhouse...

Really?  You prefer the bunker style windows that every other car has now?  I'm a fan of visibility..  But I'm a bit surprised they've still only managed 100hp.

Also not a fan of the new mazda infotainment that locks you out when moving... keeps me from liking the Mazda3.

I'm sure there's an error in the numbers seeing how the 2.0L and 2.5L Sky produces 155HP (77.5HP per litre)  and 184HP (73.6 HP per litre) respectively.

Also, the infotainment system does not entirely get locked out, just the screen itself. You can still access all functions with the HMI thingy by the gear shift.

Yeah, I knew that, but doesn't that bother anyone else?  Seems like more driver distraction rather than reducing it.  If I want to skip, stop, change station, etc, I have to go down to scroll with a knob?  At least there's steering wheel buttons still...

Production may first start in Japan but from I recall this new model will be built in Mexico by Mazda/Toyota joint venture. Mazda2 meets Yaris.

Multiple sources quote that hp number, I suspect that's what we are going to get.  If we get the diesel & manual, I will line up for one right away.
