Ford has the Transit Connect from their Euro division.
Ram has access to something similar from the Fiat group.
GM?  Nothing.

VW did the same with Chrysler. Ford with Nissan years back and the list goes on.

Makes financial sense for smaller volume sales as it allows for a broader product portfolio without the large development costs.
