Well, I certainly agree the rear end has issues.
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

I like this. Even the rear end. It’s unique in a sea of mundane lookalike crossovers. Hyundai certainly some risk taking designs, I think this one will work good.

The reason for the odd rear end, is because the Santa Fe, will have the wildest opening.

Full details out - for the US market at least, the PHEV is cancelled  :banghead:, the troublesome DCT transmission is kept  :banghead:, the atmo four is out  :banghead: and a turbo four is standard  :banghead:

At least, the hybrid returns, as does the 3-row option.

Why does the autotrader article dispute the demise of the PHEV?  Canada only?

"There will be a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder in gas-only trims, while a 1.6L turbo motor is paired with electric motors and batteries of varying sizes in the conventional and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions."

Good looking vehicle. Which isn’t hard when you copy Land Rover.

No idea, and it reads more like an assumption than a technical quote. I'll see when something lands in my inbox.

Very sharp looking ride.  Deleting the PHEV seems like an add choice in the current market (though I personally couldn't care less).  Let us know if you hear anything more or different on the subject.

In terms of size, is this essentially like the current Sorrento?

the troublesome DCT transmission is kept

I have no idea why Hyundai Transys produces some faulty transmissions. considering that is all they make. You would think by now the light build would have gone off. I've heard that you can reduce the likelihood of failure by simply changing the transmission fluid early, around the 40,000-mile mark, consistently.

In terms of size, is this essentially like the current Sorrento?

Kia Sorento has 189 inches length, 66.7 inches height, 74.8 inches width. I know the 2024 model is going to be larger. The 2024 hyundai Santa Fe 188.4 inches long, 74.8 inches wide, and 66.3 inches tall on a 108.9-inch wheelbase
