...and here it is.

Hybrid option with 326 hp.  Manual with the base engine.  TRD Pro has shock absorbers in the seats. Oh, and it looks like 6+ footers will fit now....

I like it! Hopefully it receives better reviews than the new Tundra has.

Can we quit referring to it as a Taco? Too bro yo.

access cab? Would like a 6'+box if possible

Too many plastic doo dads. Auto tailgate? WTF?  :rofl2: Plastic led lights along the bedrails?

OK with the turbo 4, back to it's roots in a way. Would like a limited gasser, manual, access cab with 6'6" box.

Access cab will be available for Canada,  and a 6’ bed and a manual also.

I think they did a great job on this, would love to have one. Shame the V6 is gone but that is the way.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Ya, read that also. Toyota Canada’s website specifically says it will be available. Not initially, but it will be coming.

^^ Motormouth said it would be available ,the U.S will get it first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq_hNJ00IJ4
The access cab won't have jump seats or rear doors like the past. Just  a place to put stuff.

I read that the seating position has been somewhat addressed, they raised the seat and the roof to accommodate, also gave more adjustment to the steering rack.  So might actually be okay to drive.

I sold my Pro because of this so I have higher hopes.  In that TFL video, both guys are tall with the fella sitting in the driver's seat at 6'3" I believe.

But it will be pricey as the Pro given the seats, suspension, etc.

Maybe.  In the video her knees were still above the hips quite a bit and she is short. Will reserve judgement until I can feel it with my own ass. Endless amounts of douchbaggery add ons but hopefully the limited will have toned it down, full time AWD with low range and a manual. That would be compelling.

I still think a new Ridgeline suits me better as I would prefer on road manners and day to day livability over extreme off road chops. I spend a lot of time in the backwoods with the Ridgeline and for the most part it handles FSRs OK limited by my tire choice and ultimately ground clearance. If things get truly nasty it is time to unload the Husqavarna  ;D. I see very few newer Tacomas with all that plastic crap bolted on in the backcountry. Will see old Toyota warriors deep in the bush (without snorkels lol).

I see 5:1 old Subaru Foresters in the backcountry vs newer Tacomas (anything 2000+).

Absolutely. There was a guy a few days ago hauling a chained log with one to get it to a spot where he could buck it up.

With that increase in wheelbase the only trails being hunted better be flat. Lots of fancy bits tough including dual exhaust tips!  ;D

Seriously I understand adding on a ton of crap and selling these to idiots looking at a monthly payment but a simple model with good ergos and  simple design would be great too. Just doesn't make as much money I guess.

I assume there is a lot of profit margin in the fancy bits.  I'd want full-time 4WD/AWD and leather but have no need for the TRD PRO stuff....guess I'd be looking at a Limited.

I think I'd be happy with a manual TRD Off-Road.

Nagging suspicion that the AWD will be auto only. I guess as long as I don't have to turn hubs lol.
