Auto insurance in times of COVID
« on: September 26, 2020, 05:26:54 pm »
Since March both I and my wife work from home and hardly drive. I heard about insurance rebates for driving less, even got an email from my insurance company and signed up for the rebate.
As a result, starting in September my payment increased by $50/month.

Do others see similar changes?

Did you mean to say "increased"? That isn't a good rebate if you ask me.

I didn't sign up for anything, but my insurance company The Personal sent me a $74  deposit for something related to Covid

This spring, I got 3 monthly rebate in a row without asking for. Funny thing is when I received my insurance renewal shortly after, there was a 15% yearly fee cost increase. No free much so I switched to another car insurer.
