...that water tried to kill me this morning.  Just as I faced the taps to turn off the shower (fully clothed, of course, for your imaginary pleasure), one errant drop of water seemed to hit the opening in my esophagus just right...and I lost all ability to breath in...or breath out.  So I'm standing there in a panic, gasping like hell to grab some air, and trying like hell to cough whatever the fack went in, out.  Wife comes running downstairs with...more water...drink this! Hey, it just tried to kill me, and now you want me to wash almost died down with more water?  Tomorrow I'm putting tape over my mouth.  >:( Fack you water.

a friends mom died last week, so the visitation was tuesday and funeral yesterday (f cancer by the way)... some friends were in town, so i was going to try to make it out for lunch with them after the funeral... as much as i'm there for support, i hate funerals and the friends know this... ii'm 50/50 for going, then i get a frantic call at work that my grandmother has fallen and needs an ambulance.. so i end up having the spend the day with either gran or gramps in the hospital or at their place...

gram is going to be ok, nothing broken just bruising and a head smack, but seems ok and will be released today...

...but the worst part is my friends all think i am making it up so that i didn't have to go to the funeral!

Squirrels are back, and trying mighty hard to get inyo my attic.
Couldnt sleep till 4 am due to ruckus they were making trying to break in.

The 401 eastbound is going by my house, getting out of the driveway will be a PITA.

Sadly it's because there was a pileup and someone got out of their car and was then struck and killed.

Do you have cat bylaws?  Places that don't allow roaming cats have way more rodent and pest issues.  Thank gawd my burb still allows roaming cats.  We have minimal mouse, squirrel, etc issues.  When our own cat got too old, we were happy to see new ones moving into the neighbourhood.

Submariner is a job I'd never be able to do.  I went caving, didn't like that.  I like big spaces.  I'd rather have a 1000M of air under my boots clinging to a cliff face than crawl around a small space.
