What a stinker of a weekend for the Jets.

Friday night, they lose to St. Louis, 5-2.
Sunday afternoon, they lost to the Rangers, 3-1.

They're pissing away this 10 game home stand.  Winnipeg loses consecutive games on home ice for the first time this season.

It happens, the Sabres beat the Bruins!  Good for the Leafs, as they won their game.

What's going on, now the Sabres just beat Tampa!

Looks like Boston could took the 1st in the East soon.  I have mentioned this before, but as per usual they are always 4-5 games played behind.  The whole month of February, Toronto has max 2 days off.  With Boston having 2 stretches of 3 days off.

Yeah, that's a head-scratcher! Not sure when they're gonna catch up to the Leafs in games played ???

Jets were behind the Caps 3-1, but came back to win in OT 4-3.

Leafs lost yesterday against the Penguins.  Penguins had their number all game.  At least Tampa and Boston lost as well.

Winnipeg Jets had a productive weekend, downing Colorado 6-1 on Friday night and beating Florida 7-2 Sunday.

Here's the save of the night by Connor Hellebuyck. https://www.nhl.com/jets/video/hellebuycks-larcenous-glove-save/t-277437442/c-57961503

Jets record is 35-15-9 for 79 points.

Leafs win in SO, barely.  Saturday they play Boston, Monday they play Tampa.  Going to be rough.  Boston has it a little easier.  Saturday the Leafs, Sunday Buffalo, Tuesday Carolina.

Hopefully Matthews is ok.  Left at the end of OT.

Leafs playing pretty good lately.  Beat Boston, lost to Tampa in a shoot out.  2 really tough teams, all without Matthews.  Tonight it's Florida.  3 games in 4 nights, I suspect tonight's game is going to take it's toll on them.  Hopefully Boston loses.

Crap the Habs won.  Less change of #1 draft   ;)

Jets defeat the Stars tonight, 4-2, their 43rd win of the season.  43-19-10

Patrik Laine is tied with Ovechkin for the scoring lead with 43 goals.

Pretty good.  I am equally impressed with the Leafs, 43-22-7, considering Auston Matthews has missed 18 games this season.

I hope he plays against Tampa tomorrow! Going to be a good test of how the Leafs play one of the best teams without Andersen.

I thought both Anderson & Mathews will be back tomorrow night. But Komorov & Zaitsev will both be out still.

Your right.  I didn't realize that.  I was focusing on an interview with Matthews.

Will Laine make 50 goals this season?  He's got 7 to go, and 10 more games...and he's on a run...

Part of me hopes he makes it to 50 but I wonder how much his next contract will be and how badly it affects the Jets ability to re-sign other players...

They could trade Byfuglien...that would free up quite a bit of money...

Jets defeat the Preds 5-4 in a shoot out.

They have clinched a playoff spot.
