Buick Envision
« on: January 18, 2016, 12:43:36 pm »
Buick has two Envisions on the show floor at the 2016 Montreal Auto Show, nice surprise! Both CUVs were unlocked, not "turntabled" away from us show goers. No pricing info, but std awd and 2 litre turbo four with start-stop. Seems right-sized and pretty nice overall from a static impression.

Once again, Buick had a free *fantastic* coffee bar, with young hip barristas and Italian coffee machines. Apart from one Verano, no cars at the stand - one Enclave, two Encores and two Envisions.

Expect a price point around that of the Lincoln MKC methinks.

I saw a silver one in traffic the other day.  Pointed it out to the wife....we both thought it was attractive.  Then she asked the price....and concluded there are a vast number of vehicles she would rather buy with the same money.  She also grew up in a household that always had 1-2 old Buick hand-me-downs from the grandparents, in fact her first car was a Buick.  You'll never convince her that Buick has changed....I'm sure that will be a common perception as Buick tries to market to the 35-44 age group.
