265lbs wet, 52hp and tons of torque.

Oh, I remember those. Only lasted a couple of years, IIRC. Didn't Husqvarna buy the tooling or whatever and keep making them under their name?

Yeah, they were only made a few years starting in 2008, mine is a 2009.
BMW designed the engine, but Kymco built them.  Then BMW took over Husqvarna and basically BMW then had no need for the 450 in their lineup, they dropped it but used the engine in a Husky.  CCM is also using it, all with slight variants.
It also spins "backwards".
