Have you had winter tires on your miata before? How much of the handling is due to your better driving skills/attention behind the wheel or simply the tires?

got a price adjustment on my 195/65/15 WS70s from Costco...i couldn't wait for the sale, so i bought them a couple of weeks ago and was told to just pop in for a price adjustment when they go on sale...the sale on Bridgestone Tires is now on...$70 off a set of 4 plus an additional $40 towards install, for a total savings of $110 plus taxes...all in, it was about $510...pretty good deal for a set of four WS70s installed/taxes in.

I wonder after 5 years are these tires even better now ?
For 19" tires these appear about $100 cheaper per tire

I'm also wondering how good these tires are and how many seasons they will last. I'm considering them for my 2006 Subaru Impreza Wagon. I don't want to spend tons of money on tires for a 13 year old car.

These are on closeout at Tirerack, good deal if you're near the border, otherwise shipping seems to even things out.   Better choice than Chinese IMO

would recomment General Altimax Arctic 12s. Very good winter tire and budget priced.
