Whatever interest I had left in Pro Stock has been destroyed with this announcement.

I was losing interest when there weren't enough cars to fill the field, and then I heard they were cutting back both TV exposure and the numbers racing. I see the latter was rescinded. Not sure I understand how this will get any more cars to show up though? Except maybe some "field fillers" who can't compete, which doesn't help. Or, someone will figure out a loophole combination and dominate?

Yes, there's little stock about their powerplants, but there are still differences between the Dodge and GM engines.  I still care if there's a Dodge engine in a Dodge body, call me crazy.  Now, everyone will be running GM powerplants and I don't like it.

NHRA made the Dodges less competitive when they lowered the rev limit to 10,500 rpm.  Now, they've finished destroying the class.
