I don't see why this matters in the least.
Yes, there's little stock about their powerplants, but there are still differences between the Dodge and GM engines. I still care if there's a Dodge engine in a Dodge body, call me crazy. Now, everyone will be running GM powerplants and I don't like it.
NHRA made the Dodges less competitive when they lowered the rev limit to 10,500 rpm. Now, they've finished destroying the class.
