Sadly you are in the very small percentage that your wife allows you to buy a standard car.

That's why I married a woman who drove a 5MT 98' Civic when I met her!  She's perfectly OK with me crossing all AT vehicles off my prospective purchase list (except for her truck)...as long as she can reach the clutch in my car.  Of course, that leaves very limited selection for me, but c'est la vie.

And to make matters worse, she still thinks that Civic was the cats' azz, even though it was gutless, had a rubbery shifter, and had about 3 inches of ground clearance...but nostalgia can be a funny thing! (To be fair, I fondly recall my Mom's/then sister's/then my 1984 Nissan/Datsun Sentra too ;))

I had to teach my wife how to drive an automatic when we got the first minivan - her parents allways had manuals, so she was never exposed to slushboxes in her youth. She's a keeper!

I saw one of these in a traffic jam today.  At first glance from the rear quarter, I thought it was one of those swoopy Mercedes.  But then I saw the VW badge.  Whazzat?  Now I know.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

I don't like the new grill. Too mainstream-ish: boorrrrrrring!

I like the pricing even less, but that has always been an issue with the CC.

I can't imagine a moonroof being the decisive factor in any car purchase, but I guess I just have different priorities.

A buddy's wife walked away from a Q5 because the door handles "felt flimsy".   ::)

I've walked away from cars that didn't have an oil dipstick....  8)

Might be in a minority here but I like the next gen CC styling. But I like the new Accord better....

If I am going to pay $40K for a car I want a moonroof that opens... too many other cars to choose from than short changing myself

Not as pretty as the first generation. Still not bad though.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Shoulda bought a Previa; 5-speed, mid-engined, RWD minivan with optional 4WD!

(Call me crazy but I'd still rock one as a beater!)
