I wonder if it would be good getting crap off the brake calipers? My old Golf R had nice black painted ones and never seemed to get too dirty but these red ones on my GLI are a pain in the butt to keep clean, especially during the spring months.
Awesome! Thanks for this as my AMG wheels are the same & a pain in the ass to wash! Washed the car on Wednesday & the front wheels take a lot of effort to get clean. Sent from my SM-G970W using Tapatalk
I used that "magma" stuff a few times, the one that dissolves brake and metal dust and turns red in the process. All good but the wheel weights got unglued, LOL. Is this stuff of the same acidic nature or not?

It is acid based (citrus I think) I don't think they recommend it for bare, uncoated aluminum though.
I haven’t used a poor Poorboys product yet. I counted 15 spokes btw.

Thanks for sharing. Will try some on my SS 1LE wheels. Vmango probably knows the pain of how much dust gets on them and how difficult it could be to clean them, haha.It would be a big relief if I could just spray it on without having to wipe down every little crooks and crannies.
I've tried this out a few times now. I think I still prefer Sonax full effect with mild agitation using a soft brush. Gets more of the fallout off. This could still be useful for touch ups between full washes though.
Whatever happened to the Moderator for this section? You know, the beer guy.Railton
