FWIW, Suzuki still has a couple...the Burgman 400 and 650...but sadly, they just seem dated.

https://www.suzuki.ca/en/motorcycles#cat-1429#1716

my last bike was a Suzuki and i just never warmed up to it...doubt i'd get another.

The Burgman 400 is redesigned. There's the all new BMW C400X coming as well but like Ron, the BMW service costs scare me.

The new Yamaha XMax is another scooter we're not getting.

What I'm hoping for at some point is a new Honda Silver Wing, not a scooter like the last one but a baby Gold Wing with their 750cc engine and 6 speed manual with optional 6 speed DCT. Touring model with the same Apple Carplay compatible screen as the Gold Wing, heated grips, hard side cases, electric adjustable windshield, etc.

Burgman is small tired still and C400x more of a city scoot IMO.

A warm Saturday today in the région Spessart meant so many riders out and about. Actually saw a couple new Honda CBR-1000RRs (and heard them.....) along with some older Ducatis and of course, a zillion BMWs.

Jealously for sure, but my bike will be here soon, I know it ! Now to just buy some fresh riding gear....... O0

I think 150s are better city scooters, the 300s and 400s are a bit big. It's too bad Suzuki won't sell the Burgman 200 anymore. I'll try out some scooters after I settle down in Edmonton.

Didn’t you move to Kelowna recently?

3 years ago. My wife hasn't been able to find a meaningful career here. I'd love to stay as I've been really thriving here and it's so beautiful here, but it's time for me to support her in return. Plus I can buy a renovated single family home with an inlaw suite in Edmonton for the price of my old 1,100 sq ft townhome here.

I hate dealing with BMW dealers already...and I'm just shopping.

$799 Freight and $299 PDI.  A similar sized vehicle from Honda is $560.   ::)

Are you facking kidding me??

they might be hard to find, but what about a lightly used Yamaha T-Max?

Impossible to find a 2016 (with ABS) thus far.

But it's missing lots of the good stuff that I'd like (power windshield, heated grips/seat, traction control etc).

if this were here, i'd kick it old school and buy it:

http://wwwb.autotrader.ca/a/Honda/Elite+250/Trois-Rivi%C3%A8res/Quebec/5_37293709_/?ms=motorcycles_atvs

it's the same as the one i started riding on, other than mine was "Summer Blond" (sandy gold colour) and i didn't have the aftermarket windscreen...for $900 though, i'd buy it tomorrow.

A cool nostalgic ride....but not for me.

Yea. That's a driving factor. I appreciate everything my mother in law does for us but I need her in her own space.

Honda Centre in Burnaby only charges $450 freight/PDI/admin! Kelowna Honda charges $695 freight/PDI + $195 admin.

Pretty cool. The drum brakes front (and back) scare me though, which is why I didn't end up buying one a few years back.

i never had any issues with the brakes...keep in mind, it isn't very heavy, and you're not doing 100 mph on it...i'd simply use it for zipping around town/commuting.

Perfectly acceptable for that.
