There have been supply issues with the Golf in the U.S. It took them a really long time to release the ‘18s for some reason.

February sales are in:

http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2018/03/february-2018-top-287-best-selling-vehicles-america-every-vehicle-ranked/

No surprises again:

Top 10:
- Ford F150
- GM Silverado
- Nissan Rogue
- Ram 1500
- Toyota Rav4
- Toyota Camry
- GM Equinox
- Honda CRV
- Honda Civic
- Toyota Corolla
- Ford Escape
Interesting looking at the sales of 3 row SUV's - Despite all the positive media press of the Mazda CX-9 its sales are so low. Nissan sells 2.5x more pathfinders than the CX-9 - Even Infiniti sells more of their QX60 SUV than Mazda CX-9. Can't help but feel it's the lack of a V6 with the C-9 which is hurting sales with that model.
Railton
No surprise
All the reviewers are in love with Mazda , but no one else looks at them

Really?  How many mainstream automakers have a double digit increase for 2018?  After 2 months, Mazda has 14%  That's in the USA.  No February numbers for Canada yet.  January showed 10% increase.

There is definitely a shift to the new model suvs, just look at the gains for the new Traverse /Equinox / Terrain which looks 1000X better than the old model.

The old Gen have been running on the same old platform for so long. All the he domestic brand loyalists  will make up the numbers I assume.

The Camry and Accord used to outsell the Corolla and Civic in the US, and with fairly inexpensive fuel prices, I'm surprised to see the compacts up there in the top 10.  That said, both of those cars have grown to the size of not-that-long-ago Camry and Accord models, so perhaps Toyota and Honda have found the sweet spot for size with the models.  The compact class are also now available with a lot of equipment that makes them amazing value.  Looking at what a $22K Corolla gets you now, it's staggering that not that long ago many of the included items were only on the E-Class and above lux classes.

The Rogue is a good product, easily one of Nissan's best in terms of segment value.  The CUV class is hotly contested and you need to bring your A game, and Nissan has.

I'm a bit surprised how many Rogues were sold.

Good point, I think their trick is Rogue + Rogue Sport! Highly doubt they sold more than the Rav4 all by itself.

Golf and Jetta are way down...looks like they basically swapped customers with the. Atlas and Tiguan.

They may very well be reporting both together like Toyota used to do with Corolla and Matrix.  But looking back a 1 year ago for Feb. it was Rogue 33k and Rav4 26k, the Rogue Sport was not out yet.

So what?  Mazda3 sales are down, but Mazda CX-3 sales are up?  Which make more profit for Mazda?  Mid size sedans for the most part are down for everybody.  The updated 6 hasn't seen a month of sales yet...

Better get those eyes checked..   CX-3 and CX-9 sales are UP!  Is Ford like numbers? NO!  But an increase is better than a decrease...

Lol, fanbois getting their backs up about comments on sales.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Mazda is absolutely killing it with the CX-5, especially in the U.S. They need to translate that success to their other models somehow.

Ever since the CX-3 has come out the 3 sales have dipped.  But when you combine those sales numbers they are pretty good.  With higher transaction prices on the CX-3.

On one hand they are listening to the people and adding features that people wanted.  Now marketing needs to get their ass in gear and tell the people that.  Yay the CX-3 has an armrest!  Heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise, quieter cabin.  The 6 has the turbo, android auto and apple car play, heated steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Since they always bring their models out late, I don't except any surges in the sales numbers till the 4th quarter.

Yeah, pretty soon the Tiguan will hit 10k per month in the US.  Haven't been able to do it yet.  Once you've done that in the US, your doing something right.

Right now that Tiguan total includes sales of the "Tiguan Limited" which is the old model but they make up a relatively small percentage of sales (like 15%).

Who the heck came up with that name?  It should be called Tiguan Sport as it's the more sporty of the two Tiguans.  Limited makes it sound like it's the luxury version of the two or something.

Only in the U.S., not in Canada.

Limited time only!

IIRC, Impala did that too.

Wonder if the Grand Caravan will do that.  Just make the base model for fleets and such.  People who want the extra :censor:, get the Pacifica.
