Definitely an aesthetic improvement.  I do wish manufacturers would stop chasing the I've-got-the-biggest grille trophy, but this looks much better than the attacked-by-an-axe-murderer design of the previous gen's front bumper.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Tamed that front end finally, all hybrid, AWD, decent price.....looks like another hit

Toyota dealerships must be looking at a good 2024 if they can get stock

Looks like the front of the hood and light are following the design of the new Prius which I really like.   Camrys are always a win.   The interior is superb,

Whatever trim has that textured fabric on the dash, that speaks to me a lot.

While I do like the looks of the new Prius quite a bit, I don't think I could pay the extra to buy one over a decent Hybrid AWD Camry.

The vast majority of Camrys I see around here have an Uber sticker in the back window. I think the sedan is well on its way to be the next dodo.
Lighten up Francis.....

The Toyota Power Split Device appears to be bullet proof.  Good ole mechanical bits brought to you by Volvo and Aisin 30 years ago.

Obviously would be a solid choice for a rental in the US southwest were one can really run through the gas.

SE AWD with upgrade seems to be the sweet spot if you consider $44K a sweet spot.  :D

Nah - ugly is ugly.  :P

And it was really just the front end - nothing wrong with the rest of it. Guy across the street from me has a bright blue one. Love the colour. When he pulls straight into his driveway and parks, I think: sharp! Whe. He backs in and leaves that hacked-up front end staring at me, I think :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:  If there's anything sporty about that front end, I'm not seeing it.  ;)

This one looks much, much better to me.

Ya, I'm not feeling that.  Is it just for the preposterous EPA mpg credit?

0W8 oil!

I was at the Toyota dealer last week when I put my name on a list for the Prius Prime, and they had one that had just been delivered that the tech was getting ready to do a PDI on. I think the sticker under the hood said 0W-16. Still crazy thin!

I am going through that right now. On the Prius Prime waitlist currently. I like the hatch versatility as it can replace a compact CUV for practicality and function. Part of me wishes the Crown was a liftback. The Crown Signia is nice but too big and likely well over $60k. Rumours are that there will be a Crown Prime coming out soon.

Toyota is on a roll on the design front; a classic, timeless design language has replaced the overwrought visages of the past, the Grand Highlander that I have, the new Land Cruiser, the 4 Runner and now the Camry. & not to forget the new Prius!!

Pricing for various trims from somewhere else:

Quote
2025 Toyota Camry pricing spans five available trims in Canada. Factoring Toyota’s $1,860 destination charge into base MSRPs, the front-wheel-drive 2025 Camrys start from $36,160, or a further $2,000 for the well-contented SE Upgrade trim. The all-wheel-drive AWD SE Upgrade starts from $39,810 in Canada, while MSRPs on the top trims hit $46,110 for the AWD XSE and $46,810 for the AWD XLE.

I would say that even the XLE AWD at $46,810 (which includes freight) with ventilated seats & HUD is a bargain in today's market where the average transaction price is ~$66K.

Well I think the front is a still a work in progress but the rest looks ok. Ditch the 19" wheels. Sidewalls are fine in a car like this.

Yep looking forward to seeing this at the rental counter. Camrys seem to be pretty common for the large car group, along with Chargers and Malibus.

I think it looks great, inside and out.

Agree, I like the new headlight cluster, the grill can be improved. Yep, with a fwd architecture and a 62.30 F;R weight balance this will never be mistaken for a sports sedan, so the 19" wheels detract from what should be a cushy ride on 225/65-17 rubber, even on and maybe specially on the higher trims.

0W8 oil!

The thinner the oil the further it goes on a gallon of fuel.  :)
