Blueprint's 2017 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron

Took delivery on July 4th. Progressiv (base) trim, no-charge Brillant Black with black interior, Parktronic sensors are the only option on this rare PHEV bird (200 units per year in Canada).

Indicated range after its first full charge was 37 km, drove my 26 km commute with km's to spare despite reaching 120 km/h on the highway.

Whoah, congrats Blueprint!! Beautiful and rare car - and the best colour IMHO. I know very little about these so very interested indeed to learn how you get on with yours. Many happy miles  :cheers:

Thanks guys!

Being a unicorn, there are a few details I wasn't sure about while ordering (and dealers had no idea, some had never even seen an e-tron). Since I don't have the Sport pkg, I expected a white headliner but mine is all-black. The std roof rails seem to be a NA-only thing too. No issue with both features.

Very cool car.

I'm curious to hear how it compares to the TDI you sent back.  I assume that this A3 is also on the MQB platform.  Does it basically drive like a faster more expensive Golf (not a bad thing at all)?

It's a plug-in hybrid, so it has a gas engine, but thankfully not like the Prius'  ;)

204hp / 258 lb-ft combined, 0-60 in 7.6s and tops at 222 km/h, according to Audi.

Thanks! My private fleet polisher is hard at work there  ;D

First overnight charge netted an indicated 37 km, drove in to work with spare electrons. ICE never fired up, even at 120.
