I have posted my recent rides (2003+_ but here are some from further back. Starting with the 85 Supra. I still miss that car.

That's a cool car. I think it would still be fun to have one "just because".

From the GTA, was born in Toronto, moved to Georgetown when I was 3 and then to Brampton when I was 16. My parents are in Caledon now & my little sister is back in Georgetown now.

When you write Caledon - do you mean Caledon Village or Caledon East?

When you write Caledon - do you mean Caledon Village or Caledon East?

I write Caledon, but they're in Valleywood, right at the end of HWY 410, on the border of Brampton & Caledon. They're mailing address lists the city as Caledon, but they're 15mins south/west of Caledon Village.

Another trip to Mom's this past weekend resulted in some more old pics of rides I have known.
This time, my old 77 Corvette, pic taken around 1981 maybe.
350 Auto, nothing special, blue interior. I think it was my first car with AC and power windows!

A combo pic - Dad's 1984 Cadillac Coupe De Ville (no vinyl roof) with 350 Diesel and auxiliary tank in the rear hat shelf. It could go from Windsor to past the Florida border without needing to fill up.
My 1984 "DATSUN" 300Z, base model with plastic hub caps.

After the black 300 got T boned by a truck I went whole hog and bought a Turbo 2+2. 3.0 V-6 with turbo and 200 hp which at the time, was quite a bit.

Fast Forward 5 years and now you can get 200hp out of 2.0 4 banger Turbo - this time with AWD!

My First Softride. I think this must have been around 1996 or so. A Century model with Shimano 105 STI Group.

Great pics! I really like that 77 Corvette; white/blue was always my favorite color combo for those. I had a couple, a 77 as well, in maroon/tan, L-48 350 auto. Then a 73 Roadster Blue/Blue; 350 auto as well. Nothing exciting performance wise; but the way you sat in it; almost horizontal looking out over that massive hood and curvy fenders, plus the big aviation style center stack....it was pretty cool.

Always wanted a white one with either the blue or silver interior.

Yeah, you looked like you were going fast in a Vette but I don't think the thing would spin the tires! Yes, the blue leather was nice.
I ran it through the Winter with snows on the back only - G70-15's!! How did we ever survive?!!! LOL

lol, that's pretty accurate. I remember doing a small brake-stand in the 77; killed a rear wheel bearing and pulled away with one of the rear wheels sitting 'stanced'. Ended up having to rebuild the entire rear trailing arm; not a good time.

Never winter drove them; but I did similar with winters (cheapo knobby Motomasters) on the rear and big wide Eagle GT's up front on my 84 Camaro....Survived just fine.
