Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

And more interior room apparently. I think they di a nice job with this. And at least the F Sport won't be a total cream puff.

Who would have thought that between the Lexus and the Avalon, the Lexus would have the smaller grille?  :rofl2:

I don't like the grille of the non-F-Sport version.  Those vertical lines don't work well in my eyes.
I kinda like the rest of the car, though.  Why are interior photos so dark? The exterior shots were clearly taken during the day -- didn't they let you take the interior shots until it got dark?

That blue paint is fantastic - anyone who buys one in a different colour has missed an opportunity and should rethink their life.

 :-[

The daylight photos were taken by Lexus's hired photographer. He was permitted access during the afternoon to take photos.  The rest of us had to wait until the official unveiling after dark.  Black interiors in dark shadows do not produce good photos.  Apologies, it was out of my control.

Toyota has some of the most awesome blues that are sprayed on car bodies.  Seeing them in person I'm just blown away.

I remember one Lada in this colour  :D  I think it had a 1.2L carburated engine and and option for a manual start through a hole in the front bumper ;D

I generally don't groove on BRIGHT colours on BIG cars but this is an exception.

Did you see the documentary on how they make their blues?

Mind blown!

That is epic, but I'm not sure that's what we're seeing on the ES...is it?  If so, I agree that nobody should buy this car in any colour other than that one - even at a $3,000 option :P

It originally came on the new LC...so it's likely going on other cars too..but I can't say for sure.

Would be an awful big development expense to have it on a single car.

The documentary I watched suggested it was an incredibly expensive process likely only to be destined for the flagship and not to trickle down.

At an LC price point yes.  At an ES price point?  I'm guessing no.
