I'm getting tired of seeing every possible variant of the VW Golf at least 10x on the way to work. Golf R Wagon? Check check check. Golf GTD Wagon? Check. Golf Cabriolet R-Line? Check. Golf GTI or GTD? Throw a rock and you'll hit one.

Why you ask? This is the sign at the end of my street.

Today at one garage in Ottawa:

Also saw a Ferrari 458 and an early Triumph Spitfire (the vintage with the little knobby taillights).  These two I spotted while they and I were driving, so no pics...

A debadge A4 or S4 of 1 generation back on the 401.   I was alongside it for some minutes.  "stanced" or whatever its is called the wheel rims were just about level with the fender edges front and rear. Even with the very low profile tires it had on he could not have had more than 5 degrees of steering before the tires graunched on the bodywork. The wheels were either wide enough or on spacers to get them very close to the fenders.     How do you park one like that?  Or do they have suspension such that they can be raised up.

A GLA on the 407...that is an ugly car.

I saw a Prowler in a weird looking caramel colour this morning on the way to work .  First time I've seen one of those in a while.  Strange looking car and especially in that colour!   :-\

Was it this color? Closest stock color that is close to caramel. It's called inca gold.

I like Prowlers.  i think they coulda had a hit with manual and Hemi V8.  (instead of that V6 and auto only)

by the way, I saw silver Mercedes AMG GT the other day on Glenmore Tr, by Glenmore lake.

first time seen in the flesh.  rear is still pretty weak, but the front is very good.  (not very strong design though)

That's it!  Come to think of it last time I was in Fredericton I saw a new Edge in a similar colour.

Camry Hybrid cop car  - unmarked - pulled over someone.  Even the cops have gone green!!  I would have had no qualms about blasting past it on the freeway - I mean, what?

Maybe it was impossible to tell, but any idea who it was? City cop, RCMP, Sheriff?

It was on Anthony Henday which is highway 216 even inside the city - so not sure if it was EPS or sheriff as we have both on that road.  Odds are EPS - but no way to know for sure.  Very unlikely RCMP as they don't operate any traffic inside Edmonton even on the ring road highway system.

This was on my ride home.  We had some severe weather.  As I approached the bend, I could barely see this live wire hanging across the road.  It was on a 45 degree angle.  Only one side of the road was passable, the other side just barely.  It was 3am, so I called 911 and they dispatched 2 firetrucks and a police.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

^That's crazy, good pic! We had some intense storms roll through here too, no damage though, just some localized flooding.

^ We had an insane thunder storm here last night with some of the heaviest rains I've ever seen here.  Nice out this morning though.  8)
