I'll have the occasional expensive craft beer, it is good stuff. But I stick with my cheap beer otherwise.

Those specialty beer usually have high ingredient costs and the brewing process can be longer and/or more complicated.

I don't mind paying if it's a good beer. Usually those are the beers I share at parties and get togethers.

Cigars, baby!  I had many $50 plus sticks and a couple $100 plus...which is stupid IMO.  Glad they are gifted to me.

But as you know, I love high quality/low cost sticks.

I already had the by-law officer here and there's no by-law for flower bed placement...which apparently there is in some jurisdiction for this very reason.

That would have made it easy.

I'm also guessing the lawyer you know would cost more than what my half of the fence would cost..

I'm not talking about by-law; it's a legal nuisance.  Neighbourly disputes occur all the time in the civil realm.

FWIW I do the same thing with bourbon and cognac. I have my reasonably priced daily drivers and a few expensive bottles for guests and/or special occasions.

Late update because of so much back and forth yesterday and I was battling a bad headache, but last night, 4 days later, we have an accepted offer. I was determined not to accept below asking after a strong flurry of activity, but she didn't lowball, the realtors offered an olive branch by reducing commissions to make up the difference between my counter offer and her counter offer to my counter offer, and I appreciated the quick respectful transaction, so we took it. I'll give the full details after the subjects are removed but I will comment that my wife and I are very happy with the final number.
