(Little) Things for 2018!
« on: January 22, 2018, 10:35:41 pm »
Well, those of you who have been warning me about all the changes that'll happen once I have a kid; will want to pay careful attention.....Mrs.Firm did her social media announcement, so I figured I'd share here that we are expecting our first child in July!

I am not sure it's hit me in it's entirety yet; but we're both really excited. We have wanted and planned for this for awhile, so I think we're in a good position, and at this point I can't ask for much more than that.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

And you should be able to put a baby seat in the Camaro and Firebirds, right?

Thanks Guys :)
I am pretty excited.

Escalade obviously will be the baby hauler; but I'll probably get a smaller car seat to move between the Firebird/Camaros...They don't have anchors and with the exception of the 96 only have lap belts in the back. So we'd have to get something that can install with the lap belt. It would only be for occasional use; local cruise nights and stuff.

The SLK will likely get less use than it already does; so it might be time to say goodbye to it.....maybe. Either free up some parking, or replace with something that has a child compatible rear seat....Something like a 996 Cab or a Jag XKR might work.

Baby's first project car is ready though:
