Saw an new M3 wagon in Tanzanite Blue when I was in Paris last fall and it looked really good to my eyes.  It was parked out in front of our hotel so I got a good look at it and looked great from all angles.  The front end reminded me of a 70s Trans Am.

Yeah, the M3 Touring looks fantastic. It's too bad we don't get that one.

I know this wagon will be extremely low numbers and cost prohibitive, but I still think it's great that they are bringing it over to our market.  The more wagons the better in my book.

There is: A Subaru Crosstrek.  ;D Actually with our third world bombed out pavement a supple long throw suspension travel Crosstrek makes a lot more sense than a stiffly sprung stormer wagon on rubber band tires. Look at me! I can afford a BMW lease payment!

A Crosstrek isn't a wagon and doesn't have enough room.

And an Outback also is not a wagon.

And to your point, money no option, I'd rather have an S6 wagon than an RS6.

The Audi RS6 has actually sold in fairly good numbers in North America (the RS6 outsells the RS7). The E63 wagon has been a steady seller as well.

Outback? So what defines wagon? Ride height?

How many have been sold in Canada?

The dealer has had a deposit from me since the "rumours" in early 2023. Yesterday that was confirmed with an allocation, supposedly the first in the country. Mrs. Hire wants to do Euro Delivery (I did it for an M4 in 2016) and have the experience, and it would be her year-round daily when it lands in 2025.

Will be spec'd in Carbon Black to match her E39 M5.

Awesome. Would you ditch the Grand Cherokee then?

I thought that they never brought back Euro delivery post COVID?

Carbon black is nice, but c'mon, there must be better options!

Have to agree, I get why you guys might like to match the old M5, but having a more unique and flashy color is always the choice that I'll take.  But then again my wife only really like's white vehicles.

Right, I've heard the same but they keep saying "soon". If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

Yeah. Wagons are sedans with a hatch on the back. Not a squished down SUV. Even Subaru classifies it as a mid-sized SUV, though that might be CAFE related.

(I'll concede that an Outback is as close as it gets to being a wagon without actually being a wagon)
