Tires are mounted the wrong way  :P

It’s a special feature, illusionist directional treads.  You ‘think’ they are mounted the wrong way.

Comparing those angles to that US stealth fighter  maybe one wouldn't need a radar detector in this truck?

Nice price but skeptical if the base will even get built.  Are they delivering base price model 3 now?

Yes, in the US.

In Canada, the base price gets you a limited range Model 3, but for $50K (including Federal credit), it's better price/performance than any other EV offering so far.

Wonder who's going to supply this steel?

Video from yesterday, turns out Stainless Steel is produced in huge quantities:

3 years?  You really think these'll see production that soon?  Ya right!

Pre-orders at 150k and growing, social media buzz at 2M views in first 24H in US alone, yeah, I think Tesla will green light production in a hurry, so 3 years from today sounds about right, late 2022 for the Tri-Motor top spec towing model.

Yes but a $100 or $150 deposit is not like a $2500 deposit, it does not show the same commitment to actually buy the product.

Possibly. But their CAPEX has been steadily going down and they have to meet the promise of the Model Y, Roadster and Semi before this model.

Not sure whether that timeline is realistic or possible. Or where they will build it.

Campgrounds have 120V 15/30/50A, not 240V. People have fried their campers thinking they could plug into a 240V outlet at home.

TT-30 (30A)= 1x 120V. Same 120V only about NEMA 5, whichever Amps rating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEMA_connector
Receptacle NEMA 14-50 as found in RV park campground carry 1ground + 1neutral + 2x 120V = split phase 240V.

My understanding is maybe older(?) 50A RVs were internally wired to feed only 120V devices in opposition to newer high end RV, which seem to have usage of 240V to feed energy hungry appliances. https://koa.com/blog/30-vs-50-amp-rv-service/ see embedded YT video https://youtu.be/GoOR2AJGjOI

There is App$ / Service to find campground with specific services, such as 50Amps https://www.allstays.com/DL/pro-multi-amenity.htm

Maybe the 150+ depositors are simply the ultimate trolls. I mean, they have to be, right?
I’d rather drive a new Chevy.

Specs/price/range looks good/ok/stunning for such pick-up truck market but the apparence is quite radically .. different. Who know for sure in 3 years from now if it won't be the newest style rage?

Twice "oops moment" when side glass has broken was funny  ::)

Tonneau cover will retract ok in cold, snow, ice?

Can we get a cyberdoo with it?
