Saw my first one of the season on the road today.  A blue one.  I'd still have a helluva hard time picking between the blue and black.

Aboot :censor: time Vman!

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

What's a good sign is that even the second I saw it with the cover off this spring I was so excited. Getting in to drive it still just amazing as the day I got it. One is never sure how you'll feel about a purchase when you think about it (especially not driving it) after 5 months but I'm still in love (obviously from how often I talk about the Camaro).

It just does exactly what I wanted out of a sports car. I find myself driving the long way to places and looking for excuses just to go drive. Driving is fun again.

Did the car have any trouble while it was parked?

I think that's one of the benefits of keeping a summer only car. Being without during winter and then taking it out as the weather warms up really gets the happy hormones going :)
I love it when a plan comes together.

This.  Taking a break from any nice vehicle makes it seem even more special.  Daily driving anything can make it seem mundane.

your Camaro is possibly one car where I would say "yeah, stock is enough"

But hey, if you want to make it more of a brutal machine, go ahead sir. Living vicariously through your posts :)
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Agreed with all of that.

My rockers were getting destroyed (even with protection) because the sticky tires pick up every little rock or piece of debris on the road and they also poke out from the fender a little. A lot of the 1LE and ZL1 guys use these little contoured flaps which helps the problem and they also look cool and not to obvious. They're from a company in the States called ZL1 Addons. They make some cool stuff!

....I'm getting the traditional Vman mod bug. Looking at Cat-Backs but also looking at all motor builds from Katech and Lingenfelter..... :-\

Should have kept your Rally flaps from the WRX! :)

Bring it here to Livernois Motorsport! They have staged upgrades....

But why not just do this? :)

yup, though I put roughly 10,000km a year on a car even if I DD it year round anyway - to put things in context.

Don't let him break your b@lls, he probably only put that many kms on his Lexus in the past year  :rofl2:  My car had ~117,000miles when I got it in August of 2014 and now I have just over 125,000miles  ;D

I've never been a Camaro fan, but this generation has been superb.  And your car especially...black and the hood like that...it looks like a living beast in this picture!
