You seem to be talented & a patient guy to find unicorn. Congrats & Enjoy.

Do we know what is coming next mid-week?
I'm not talented or patient, really. I just look at car ads....every day.

So when one of our cars sell, I already have potential lists in my head.

She said "time for a change" and within 24 hours I had the list whittled down to 2 cars. This one and an S5. She wanted the S5 from the enthusiast part of her..but knew upkeep and parts cost could be substantial.

She said she always wanted a white car. Her love of the TT engine and white had her picking the A5. The crazy price we got it for vs.the S5 was a big factor too.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

To me this is one of the best designed Audis ever made.  It's the type of car that will look good 20 years from now.  I hope it treats you and IQ well for however long you have it.

I remember the thread where you were shopping for the TT.  Coupe, manual, awd, not many vehicles fit that description.
I agree.

It's a beautiful looking couple. The white absolutely glows and the 19s really set the car off. I'm not fond of the interior color...but it's more interesting than the typically coal black interiors.

Congrats! Good find and nice car. My kind of package .... 6 cyl + AWD + Manual = perfect combination. I hope I can find mine at some point.

I'm with you on the wood trim - not ideal in this car.

Just curious, have you been able to negotiate down from the asking price?
Yes, so much so I think it's borderline steal.

Looks good. Any concern with a lifetime of 10k km commutes and sludge? Don't think these 3.2s are sluddgers but who knows?
That was his work commute. He drove the car besides that.

He changed the oil well before the recommended interval.

I came in here tonight just to see what you bought, and this didn't disappoint. I love the way these look, Audi's best design, in recent memory, at least. An old co-worker of mine bought one of these, in nearly identical spec (but with a black interior) around 2012 or so. I remember him whining a ton about the sunroof being tilt only, but otherwise he loved the car, eventually upgraded to an S5, but the weird 4-door one, whatever that's called.

congrats on the A5...looks good.

now what about that 2nd car?
Honestly, buying cars during Covid, especially out of town as I usually do, is very difficult I'm finding. No rail, no flights...which means I need a wingman. And I prefer IQ. Which means we need to synch a common day off. Then that day off has to coincide with the seller.

I've been trying to wrap up the 2nd car for 3 weeks now...and I'm starting to lose interest. But it has a rare option package (only 2 in Ontario).

We'll see...if the GS hasn't sold, I'm might see if we can re open negotiations. His wife wants the car gone bad for a big home renovation project.

So I get out my tire pressure gauge. 48psi? WTF??

You're not going to have a smooth, no bump ride at 48 psi!

Sweet ride!  Happy motoring to the lovely lady.
