I actually watched the unavailing of this yesterday and have to say that video game machines have become full entertainment machines. I can't wait to see how they price this new Xbox but am thinking it won't be cheap.

Another thing I heard is it won't be backwards compatible.

They have zero incentive to make it backwards compatible.  That didn't really work for Sony either.

Make it all new, some will complain but most will just end up buying everything all over again -- there is big money in extras.

Let's not kid ourselves - backwards compatible or not, I'll still buy one. I'll just keep my old 360 for the older games.
