It would be interesting to know what thread you get smites from.  I haven't posted that much in the past few days, and recently accumulated 7 smites.  But not an applaud in months.  I applaud and smite fairly evenly, but not too often.

Noticed I've been smitten several times in the last week or so even though I haven't been on much lately.  I got 2 this morning and I'm pretty sure who did them as there was only one other person on at the time of the first and doubt it was them.  Not surprised either. The only thing that does surprise me is how I have so few.   :rofl:
