rim specs
« on: August 19, 2017, 01:32:08 pm »
Looking at these rims and wondering if they will fit on my 2015 Elantra GL. The owner said they were off of a 2008 Altima, but on closer inspection, the rims have a hyundai logo on them.  The tires are stock 205/55/16 which is great but am curious if the rims will fit. It has these markings but other than the 16x6.5 I am clueless. Any ideas? see attached image.

You will not be able to tell from the stamping what vehicle they fit - but here's what I know about the numbers (and letters).

E16 = 16 mm offset.
6 1/2 = rim width
J = flange contour.  J is the norm.
CH = the safety hump configuration.  No need to worry about that.

Usually the offset has an 'ET' in front of the number, not an 'E'.

I think the E16x6.5 is the wheel size and width.  The offset (ET) should be shown somewhere else on the wheel.

Hyundai's hub is 67.1mm
Nissan's is 66.1mm.
If there is a Hyundai logo on the rims, there is a good chance that they will fit to your car. But it's best to get to the seller's, take off one of your wheels and actually try on the rims in question.

they are hyundai wheels - have the H logo on them and that other number at the bottom of the pic that starts with 529 is the part number ( googled it and it comes up correct)
