Great pictures gents, thanks for sharing.  I can't say that I've ever been to an auto show like that.  One of the drawbacks of living in the Maritimes I guess.

I hear ya. I'm originally from NL and always envied those who lived close by a major Auto show.

For enthusiasts living in the Maritimes, I highly reccommend a little winter get away to Montreal to check it out sometime. It would be a load of fun to get a bunch of car loving buddies to make a weekend out of it. My advice would be to split things up.. spend a 2-3 hours each day at the show and then go out and enjoy the restaurants and pubs in downtown Montreal for the rest of the day.  ;)

If/when I move back to Atlantic Canada, I think I'll still try and attend once every few years.

Oh yeah, don't forget a smoked meat sandwich from Dunn's or Schwartz's Deli.....   ;D

Come on, Montreal isnt that far away!  1hr plane ride, 10 hr drive.  For Boston, its about the same drive time, or drive to Portland and take the train ($25) .

I was actually aiming that at CanuckG35, so please don't take it as aimed at you; still getting used to 1 finger typing on s plsybook, and sometimes its too tiring to go back and edit.  as you csn see.  damn a seems too hard to reach, too.

I went down to the AutoShow in Montreal once with Random and mwqa and we ate at Dunn's!

I'm going to Toronto this year.

I ended up at the Montreal show once as well.  We were skiing at Tremblant and it was so damn cold they closed the lifts.  It was -59C with windchill at the top, about -35C otherwise.

Having gone to the car shows in Calgary and Edmonton my whole life, I couldnt believe how amazing and large the Toronto Auto show was. When I was posted out in CFB Trenton I went 2 years to the show and I couldnt believe it. If you live outside of Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal, try to go to one of those, its so amazing compared to any other "small town" show.
Lighten up Francis.....
