I have never seen a lifted Crosstrek, but there are piles of regular ones though. I would think that the CVT and "single" speed transfer case would limit them. They are light though so that helps. Bolting a ton of underbody protection (mandatory)  isn't going to do that engine any favours and getting proper recovery points (and no not the screw in off-center eyebolt) would be a challenge.

Nice to see the StarTex interior is back, odd they took out the front camera, although the US never got one in the previous models either

There is one guy I see now and then with a "lifted" Crosstrek with some Bf Goodrich T/As and a Jeep Recovery Vehicle sticker....its cute.

Cladding is cheap. It's not going anywhere

That's a good point. Perhaps they should just go 100% cladding. Then we would be at Saturn again.
