Topic: Where to search for parts + spray paint cans?

Hi guys,

Short story: Narrow Garage, Reverse, bye-bye driver side mirror cover.
Escape 2015 color: Magnetic (Code J7).

Ford wants CAD 180,00 for the Cover + Paint + Installation

Searched the internet for the cover (Part: CM5117D743-B), could not find it anywhere.

The ones from E-Bay.ca comes from the USA and cost+shipping+importation+whatever is more than CAD 54.

Also searched for ANYWHERE that sells Paint Spray Cans here in Canada. Could not find anything.

Can anyone guide me to some sort of sanity with this? It is driving me insane.

Go to an auto body supply store that sells paint.

Some of them will put it into a spray can for you.

There is Dupli-Color Ford Magnetic Metallic spray paint at Canadian Tire.  Seach part number CBFM0417.  The single review says it doesn't match J7, so I don't know.

If you're in the GTA there's a place called 'Cawthra Auto Supply' in South East Mississauga (Cawthra & Lakeshore). They have an in-house paint mix guy who will mix any color you want, just bring him the paint code. They're kinda crabby to deal with, but they're the best I've come across thus far.
