So with spring right around the corner I thought it would be fun to see what everyone’s detailing plans are for the spring/summer.
What products will you be using?
Before and after pics?
Any new accessories? (ie. PC 7424XP, Griot’s, Meaguiar’s, foam cannons, pressure washers etc…)
I’ll start!
The cars I’ll be detailing will be my own (’15 WRX) and my wife’s mobile (’13 Elantra GT). I got the WRX in early October of last year and I was able to get one good wash & seal before the winter hit. The GT has been sealed and waxed throughout its short life.
My plans for both cars, are washing, claying, hand polish/sealant and wax. I had considered getting myself DA but with kid #1 on its way (late May) and already spending a good amount of $ on detailing, I decided to pass (for now).
Like I said earlier the WRX is new (I only put ~3000km in 5.5 months) and after inspecting it, it really doesn’t need any paint correction. The GT on the other hand could have used it but it wasn’t crucial, it does have a few surface scratches which should be taken care of by pooboy’s polish w/sealant.
