I do not take into account smites at all, unless I made a comment and they spiked. But at the same time, you guys would say so in the ensuing comments as well.

I feel they are good for a big anonymous forum, but this is tight group of friends, we are not afraid to tell each other exactly what we think.

Smites are mostly a joke here.  I made a comment once about the relatively low number of smites I had and they went up exponentially within minutes.

i'm not offended by them, it just bothers me as it's a useless function.

for example, for others, i basically look like NormT...so if someone asks a question about something, and NormT and i post a reply, we'll both be taken with the same amount of consideration.

the purpose of "smite" makes sense if someone says "You bought a Honda Passport?  What a piece of garbage"...yea, smite that ...instead, you post something relatively benign, and just because someone disagrees with you, you get smited for it (or in this case, just because, no real reason other than the fact i brought it up)...that doesn't seem like what it was intended for.

i'm just going by how it was used on other sites...i found it a much better feature...you can see when people "applaud" you (and who did it), so you know exactly which post gave you them, and the same went for "smites"...so if someone is new, and says "Your new car is " in a Show & Shine, and they get smited for it, they might realize you aren't supposed to on people's new cars in there.

   I'm all about the smites. Each is its own delicate note in the symphony of the butthurt.

I know it's off topic  but I haven't seen a single 400Z render yet that made me think wow.  I think this side by side is kind of interesting though

Can't tell much from the video, but the front end looks better to me than a lot of the renderings, and at least it's confirmed!

Nissan needs this to be good. Not just for sales, which will be small compared to Walmart CUVs, but for their image. Which other than say some FCA products, is about as low as you can get.
