WTF??
Just noticed this on the Miata, I've hardly been anywhere with it, must have happened in my driveway or a grocery store parking lot.  Hard to get a good picture because of the reflections, but 3 separate dings on the trunk area and a scuff on the spoiler.    Did someone drop stuff on it?

Man that sucks, it does look like something fell on it to me. Wasn't it in your MIL garage for the winter? That's the first suspect I'd have....  ::)

I had to change the battery and it's right there in that quarter, I would have noticed. (It was my first thought though)

The three dings are in a row, one is right up in the middle on the panel in front of the trunk, so not just something that bumped into it.  I think someone whacked it with something.   I vacuumed it last week, including the trunk, it had to have happened after that.

^ I got one in the Escalade earlier in the week too. Annoying because that windshield is only a couple years old and was perfect. I'll repair it with one of those Permatex kits this weekend.

What kit? I'll bring mine to Autoglass for this one but maybe i can do those by myself in the future.

This is the one I have, success depends a lot on the type of damage, but I've had pretty good luck getting very good results using this in the past.

Only a couple years old?  ;D  My 8 month old glass has 8 hits on it.. A 1-2 year replacement schedule if you drive highways out there. I don't replace until it is smack dab in the driver's vision. The passenger can suffer and look at bulls eyes.

The windshield on the RL looks like I parked at a driving range and invited the PGA tour to fire away. Will I replace it....probably not.

Discovered Friday evening the fridge stopped working. Freezer portion still works, though.

As a live in a rental, nothing will be done until Tuesday.

Throw a few bags of ice in the fridge if you have room and things aren't spoiled yet.
