I love rediscovering these guys, could listen to them for hours...and still find something new every single time. Their concept album "Still Life" is a work of genius on top of their already high caliber. Highly recommended for people who are music geeks and appreciate the art behind it, not just the catchy notes or the beats.

I love Opeth. The only thing I don't like their (or anybody's) music is the growls, but I'm still a big fan. Both Opeth and Tool are geniuses to me and I'll never tire of their music.

Been on a bit of a retro kick lately:

Steely Dan. Just based on appearances, would these guys even be permitted to succeed today?:

The Cars. One of my favorite bands from my youth. I've never been in a band and I'm no musician, but even I can tell that these guys are "tight."

The Ventures. And this one is just plain fun. Great video from 1966 too:

I never get tired of Steely Dan's music!  They were all fantastic musicians and their music had a strong jazz influence.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Great track!  This is IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), as opposed to bro-tastic EDM...

I've been digging through a bunch old CD's and loading some of them to the hard drive in the X5.  CCR, Crosby Stills and Nash, Fleetwood Mac, Stones, Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett, The Bangles, Gordon Lightfoot, Frank Sinatra, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Rod Stewart (rock stuff and American songbook albums) as well as some of those "Women in Song" compilations......a real trip down memory lane.
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.
