Powerstop Rotors and Pads, Yay or Nay?

Thinking to replace rotors and pads in all four corners. The rear rotors are visibly worn and grooved and the front ones look fine but there is shaking during highway braking. I wonder if anyone had any experience with this brand...

I've installed a couple sets of these and like them a lot. Most recently I installed a set of the drilled ones on a 2014 RAM 1500 I used for a project at work that's now become my corp vehicle. Great fit, included all the clips and hardware, zero noise (yet), and notably more "bite" while braking. The do seem to dust more than the factory pads, but I am OK with that for the improved feel.

Saw $184. , but that can't be right.  What's the total cost for all 4 wheels; pads and rotors?

Yes, probably shipping; rotors are heavy.

Yay on Powerstops.  I had the same grade as you on the back of the van.  No issues with them.  The hats did rust up pretty quickly, but I found that other "daily driver" grade rotors were the same.

I wouldn't pay two cents more for drilled/slotted rotors.

It certainly depends on who's making them.

Chinese knock-off?  Agreed.

Something better?  Yes...and also depending on how you use your car.  That matters more.

FWIW, given the choice, I prefer slotted only over drilled AND slotted.  No great need for drilled IMO.

But if he doesn't drive in a spirited manner whatsoever...then the regular kit is fine.  I'm (mostly) breaking his balls.

I am more about the coating on the rotors....I hate seeing rusty hats or vents, so if the Z33 has a better coating on it (and I am not sure whether it does??) then I'd spend the extra $ for it.

Yea, the Z33 is zinc plated IIRC

I went with Maxbrakes.com out of Toronto for the rear of the Cayenne.  Got this type of kit, didn't really care about the cross-drilling or slotting, but the "lesser" kits didn't have the coating.
IIRC Rockauto didn't have stock of what I wanted at the time.

It was $184 CAD before checkout, regardless, $184 or $235 before tax and shipping is a fantastic price for 4 rotors and pads for that size.

It shows CAD, but somehow that's the US price...$184.
