That’s 15k to 25k miles too remember. My dad loves this stuff. He drives 100k km each year between his two cars so he only has to change his oil four times a year instead of twelve.

No dipsticks means never having to check the oil.

How much mileage since that last oil change?  Judging by the color of the oil in the picture, either the oil had a lot of mileage or I'm afraid it was not changed at all...
If you read it again, you'll note that it was a stock image of a Mazda3 dipstick - not a picture of my car or my oil.

It's not worth it for me to do the oil changes myself.  The dealer charges $15 more than what I would pay for the oil and filter.

Plus, VW made it a pain in the ass to change the oil on the Mk7 TDI.

Ill advised to change own oil if car is new and under warranty like you say to save $15.   VW warranty approval "people" will look much more favourably on a vehicle with a regular service history in their system.

Yes, at least wait until the warranty is over before going the diy route.

Wife's MDX oil life indicator hit 5%.  At which point it comes on each time the vehicle is started so I hear about it.  Checked the records; 13,453 kms since last change.  :o    Seems like a bit of an oil interval "stretch" to me.  Idles a lot.  Always gets remote started in winter and then shuts down after 10 minutes.

This spring (!) I have only managed 4000 KM since the last official service.   I am going to call the dealer to check if I can skip the service.
Mrs tpl is ill and is not driving  and I gather loaners are a problem with this pesky pandemic as is just taking a book and sitting in the dealer to wait.

I usually change my oil when I drive about 7500 kilometers,I noticed that this is the most optimal distance. They say that you need to change less often, but I do not believe the advice of people

Okay. Lol... 7,500km on an E46 M3.

Sorry to hear. I agree that the oil change isn't worth it.
