My wife has never liked the MX-5 but she saw an RF for the first time recently and she really liked it. They are fairly rare on the used market and keep their value. Could probably justify one at $20k but it will be a bit before they get there. The sport package is also very uncommon from what I've seen.

Beautiful car, I think I'd go for an RF myself if I had a choice for the power hardtop. I actually like the PHRT from the NC generation - it is indeed a full power hardtop convertible and not a fastback.   

Car guys that dismiss the MX-5/Miata usually have never driven one, or are insecure about themselves. :P

I’ve had four of them. Haven’t turned gay yet. :rofl2:

3 inches wider and 3 inches longer and a tad more HP and it would be perfect for North America.  Currently, it's designed for it's home country inhabitants.
