I think he REALLY REALLY needs to add a 2004-06 or so Range Rover to the stable.  Between the two SUVs the thread will have daily entries.

If there is a size limit to the # of posts in a thread, that would certainly test it.

"Self-driving cars experiment demonstrates dramatic improvements in traffic flow"

Not too sure what to think about that...   :shuffle:
Sure, it has the potential (eventually) to help heavy traffic flow being more fluid but what if you want drive yourself, would it remain an option as a certain point in the future?

My friend's father has a 2006 ML350 with the gas 3.5L V6. It has VERY low kms (<100 km at the moment), but it has died 3 times and left him stranded. Fuel pump problems.  :P

The check engine light turned out to be two issues. A downstream NOx sensor and a faulty AdBlue pump. It's about 1.5 hours for each repair so they kept the car and will finish it today. As usual, thank God for extended warranty!

Too bad your ML is not self driving; it could do the trips to the dealer on it's own!  :rofl2:

So, not so straightforward after all. I just got off the phone with the service department. The NOx sensor was seized in and broke when they were trying to remove it. The car now needs a catalytic converter and that is about a week away. All their service loaners are out but they should have one back by the end of today.

Looks like I won't be trading the ML in the next few days. ::)

Fairly common in older sensors. Though you should put a torch to it before attempting removal to prevent this

What if the same happen with Sailor at the wheel? A self driving car can call for a towing! :)
