Evident at this year’s Montreal show is the return of colour. Audi notwithstanding, many of the manufacturers are favouring bright colours and a wide palette for their vehicles this year. We’ll see if this holds true at February’s Toronto show, or if it’s just a regional preference. I think we’ve had enough silver, don’t you?

I sure hope so. I for one am pretty sick at looking at the colour options for a car and seeing that 80% of those offered are some variation of silver/black/gray. It is especially annoying when often the same car in the US offers several additional colours.
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

Actually, the Chrysler 300 is there, as is the new Dodge Charger.  We just don't give too much attention to these large cars in Montreal.

No Veloster?

All the Focuses were unlocked : the yellow car from the article (that's the 32k$ one), a silver sedan, a red mid-grade 5-door and I can't remember if there were others.  The C-Max was open, but on a "don't climb" podium.

No Veloster, but we got the world premiere of the 2012 Accent, a 5-door on a podium and a sedan unlocked on the floor.  The new Elantras were there, of course, as was the Sonata Hybrid.

Cool, how's it look in real life?  Better proportioned then the old model?  BTW - it is the North American Premiere, the world premiere was in Beijing last spring

A US car mag called it a world-premiere because the car had the "Accent" name ... "North American" premiere is a better fit.

The Accent gets the same 138 hp four as the Veloster, so it should have more velocity...  This car should please a larger crowd than the youth-intended Fiesta, Sonic and 2.  The interior is not boring, don't get me wrong, it's just a bit less extroverted.  The inside feels a bit smaller than the Elantra, but not cramped.

BTW, rear headroom is poor in the Elantra and (esp.) the Sonata.  At 6.0', I barely clear the headliner.

Not keen on the 370's new styling cues at all .
My fav Mustang of all time has been remade . I bet the new ones a great car to drive .
I wonder how good the IQ can be made to handle ? Throw on a supercharger it could be fun too .
That new Accent , same engine as the Veloster but is lighter , could be a good sleeper with some suspension mods . Throw on the Velosters turbo and smile as the cops go by after someone else driving the Turbo Veloster .
