I went down to the show last night, got there around 6:00pm or so. I could not believe how quiet it was. Not empty by any means, but much better than the usual sardine-like feel the weekends usually bring. If opening night is always like this, I'll always be going down then!

"Powered by a combination of TDI Clean Diesel technology and twin electric motors, the Cross Coupé delivers 306 hp at a fuel consumption rate of just 1.8L/100 km." Am I reading right? If the price is good then this car will be a game changed since it trumps any other cars in fuel economy easily.

Definitely a typo.

I was at the Toronto show for 5 hrs on Saturday, and was very impressed with the GT-R, new Corvette, McLaren cars. Audi had a great set up with their cars and girls, and Ford had a rally racing video, and engine demos (ecoboost engines) that were impressive. I had my car fix for the year!

I'm heading down in about an hour - does anyone know if there are any lounges?  I don't want to bring a key to every car I can get access to just 'in case'...but I do like free drinks!

I have keys to:
Subaru
Toyota
Lexus
Jaguar
Mazda
Chevy
Nissan
Honda
Infiniti
BMW

let's just say that bringing all those keys would require something of a man-purse and a liability of several thousand dollars.

Anyone who's been know of any lounges?

Definitely a typo.

Not a typo, it's just fanciful concept car estimates...

2014 Transit Connect Wagon "Ford is launching an all-new 2014 model that will also offer a new category of seven-passenger hauler that is, according to Ford, fun-to-drive and fuel efficient."

Unless Ford Prices this to compete aggressively against the Chrysler/Dodge minivans I don't think the small fuel savings are going to make up for the fuglyness. No thanks to a 4 cyclinder van loaded with 7 people and baggages.

hmmm...quoting myself seems odd.

In any event, if anyone is wondering, the only manufacturers with lounges are Mercedes and Buick.  Buick doesn't really have a lounge - it's more of a free coffee stand.  The Merc one was great, so if you've got a key to a Merc/Smart, flash it (though I didn't and still got in).
