5:00am, drive to the gym (Yonge/401ish area). Park underground.
8:00am, start 'er up, get on 401, exit at Black Creek, continue onto Weston Road.
8:20-ish am, stop at a red light at Eglinton Avenue.
8:21-ish am, start from stopped position, and, WHAM (see pic).
Car continues to drive absolutely fine - makes no noises, no loss of power, etc.
Googling suggests that it's one of a few things:
1) Corroded wire for the ABS sensor
2) Loose/Dirty gas cap (unlikely - I filled with gas last night in Guelph, drove an hour back to Toronto, car sat for 5 short hours overnight (we watched the meteor shower at Guelph Lake, sans light pollution
), then drove to the gym and most of the way to work. I'd have burned through ~8L of gas by then. Filled at Shell (perhaps the culprit if the overfill sensor is clogged - as discussed in another thread, Shell's pumps don't seem to stop at the right spot
)
3) Faulty ECM.
There seem to be a LOT of complaints about the 2010 Corolla in particular having this issue. It's relatively warm outside, the car would have been warmed up by this point, and it hasn't rained in 2 days (some have suggested water got into the air intake, which makes no sense...others are just disconnecting/reconnecting the battery to make the light go away
).

I've never seen a CEL light on before in any car I've ever driven. It's not a great feeling
