I wonder how many of these new companies will be around in a few years once the big auto manufacturers start putting out electric trucks. My guess is none.
Maybe, but Tesla has been pushing the boundaries of battery tech for years, most more established companies haven't caught up yet.
Their next growth curve will be moving away from lithium/nickel/cobalt to the next generation (sulphur / silicon / graphite / flow etc). Ford et al will be happy using older more tested tech, they won't be innovating as much.
