Some neat photos here.

And this is the Forester, in Voght Valley on the way to Kamloops today:

This was one of my old forestry projects back from the mid-90's, sort of cool to see the sign still up.

She is due in 4-5 weeks.
 nicely done, Sir!

Ta da...
do you get out by means of the passenger door?
Maybe it's a silly question, but I agree with pi314 here:  if the RL is pulled in, and the Berlin Taxi is backed in, why not trade sides and then both can use the centre 'lane' for a wider/easier entry?

I used to back the Corolla and RX into the garage and my mother fricken flipped.  So I traded sides, pulled her car in, backed in the Corolla, and she flipped even more.  She apparently likes getting in on the wall side for some reason.  *sigh* creatures of habit.

Procrastinated blowing out the driveway the last couple of days because it's cold and windy (-20 ambient, -39 windchill).  I had my phone with me and snapped a couple of pics of my salTTy dirTTy car.

^^ That's dirty?  Mine is so bad, have to watch when loading the kids in, getting the coat dirty.  As for the driveway.  I don't want it to clean, people may think I have too much time on my hands... We got 2cm last night, yeah I am not getting the shovel out...

my side step bars aren't actually that bad... maybe it was the drive in this morning through the snow.

the bonus of a brown truck is it doesn't look as bad as it seems.    I'm stopping on my way home tonight to spray off the underside.

these pics don't look as bad as it is.   :-\

Yeah, that's pretty lame. Maybe a two out of ten.  :stick:

I drove home after a ridiculous storm a couple weeks ago and the car was totally encased in snow/slush/ice. Wheel wells were 100% packed to the point that tire tread was completely rubbing on packed snow all the way around. And the inside of the wheels were packed solid too.  Didn't even need to use the brakes - as soon as I let off the gas, the car would just drag to a halt.

But you snapped pics and I didn't, so I guess you win this round. :)

 :rofl2:

Seriously, the amount of salt used in Montreal is INSANE. Certain Streets after the thaw are covered with salt (like little snow flakes) for weeks!

Also why Quebec minivans have such terrible hoods and tailgates, I'm assuming.

tried to spray under the truck last night.
no go.  just too cold.   the ice was so thick it barely came off and the spray was just freezing up.

waisted 6 bucks!

my drive in actually cleaned a bit of it off.  Driving through 2 inches of fluffy stuff helped.   It looked much worse the night before!

Same thing happened to me Monday afternoon.  Almost no ice/crud came off.  I had to scrape the windows afterward.  I then went to Petro Canada, fueled up and went through the touchless car wash (with dryer) to remove the ice deposited during the spray wash.  FFS.
