Wasn't the Ram TRX the first vehicle that wore them as OEM's?

Ya, that's right.

The main reason I bit on these tires is they were take offs, so got a good deal on them, and they aren't load class E. The issue with many of the tires in this size is that they are only available as a load class E, which I wanted to avoid.  They ride so rough.   I was leaning towards Falken Wildpeak AT or Toyo Open Country AT before these were presented as an option from the retailer.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Yep, great looking Tundra. That design has aged very well.

I agree, it's been downhill ever since.

Put new wheels/tires on the Tundra last night. Wheels are Fuel Vector, tires are Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT. The tires are an AT, not sure why they are called MT as that means mud terrain to most, however in this case I read it stands for Maximum Traction. Sounds like a marketing gimmick.

Did you notice where they were made?   We used to make them where I worked, if from Napanee, the first digits in the serial would be either 4B or 14B

I'll have a look blur.  These are a relatively new tire, brought out in the last couple years IIRC.  They are OE on Bronco Wrangler and Sierra AT4 I believe.  Could be others.

I think it was the MT/R we made, dunno, maybe they're making these now, haven't smelled rubber in a few years now

Ya I was back and forth between Method and Fuel.  Method makes some good stuff, overall higher end than Fuel, but in the end just liked the style of the Fuel's I bought.  Prices are pretty similar for the one piece wheels. Method has so many styles that are similar, it's pretty difficult to choose a favourite.

Those two pics show that later Tundra's with those scoops is ridiculous. That clean look of the older one is so much better..

Speaking of which this grill height video from Ryan F9 is quite entertaining..

The hood scoop is only on the TRD sport I believe.

It looks like some models get a pair of black plastic things glued on the hood as well. Not sure what function they perform.  The Capstone looks to get a plastic badge glued on the door.

Yesterday the old girl took us all the way down to Pensacola Beach. About 7.5 hours, including about 45 minutes at Bucc-ees. Most of the drive was rural highway through eastern Mississippi and then into Mobile Alabama. From Mobile there are a bunch of really cool expansion bridges over various bays and out to the island in the gulf.

It's huge, and a seriously impressive facility, but given that it was Saturday and on route to the gulf coast, it was packed....way too busy to really enjoy it. Got what we needed (coffee, gas, jerky) and got the heck outta there. I was annoyed/disappointed they they did not have windshield squeegees at the pumps, seems like a big miss. I had to stop at an Exxon later to clear my windshield.

We are suppose to be getting a bucc-ees about 15 minutes from home, assuming it will be less busy, I'd use it. Their gas prices are great and they have non-ethanol for like $4/gal vs the only other place locally that's like $5/gal.
